The story of the Greenground Map began in the Spring of 2019, when inspired by the London National Park City* movement I proposed a tube style map connecting parks for walking and cycling in Twitter. After ten people liked the idea I made the first graphic based on my personal walks and awareness of London. More than 400 people liked and shared the initial map and the map was featured in the front page of Londonist over the Easter weekend.

Many people responded in social media they like the map, but asked to add more parks, so I engaged with the community to expand the map further. The final map included more than 300 green spaces and 12 lines and was featured on London National Park City homepage and fair in the Summer of 2019.
